Glorious Bethlehem Night

About GCN

Glorious Christmas Nights is an annual, musical extravaganza of music, dance, comedy, drama, and celebration. Each year, the cast, crew, musicians, choir, painters, technicians, and support volunteers of WEAG open the doors for 18 performances over two weeks. We seek to give praise and honor to God as we creatively retell the essence of Christmas expressed in the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

“We are excited to continue the tradition of GCN on a new stage with an outdoor, immersive experience.”

Bob Laughlin, Producer & Pastor of Performing Arts

Christmas 2020

COVID-19. The global pandemic that started just weeks after last year’s GCN has caused so much loss. Lives, jobs, even hope have fallen victim to the ravages of the virus.

But, all hope is not lost and neither is Glorious Christmas Nights. We will celebrate the miracle of Jesus’ birth as God expressed His love for His creation in a way we could have never imagined and will never truly understand.

Join us again, even if differently from years past and with safety precautions in place, as we reclaim the hope and joy that God continues to share with us and is more powerful than COVID.

"This was our very first experience attending WEAG’s Glorious Christmas Nights. This rivaled most everything we have seen on Broadway! Absolutely amazing that so many of,their members give of their time and talents to such a beautifully done production. I could not begin to recommend it highly enough. The message was so well done and captivates young and old alike!! Thank you for blessing my Christmas!!"

– Susan Sheppard

"My family has been every year for the last several years. We love the fun, lighthearted stories with a purpose. This year’s show was so much fun, as always! So much talent went into this production and provided such a fun evening for our family!"

Will Glorious Bethlehem Nights be wheelchair accessible?

    Reply
    • weagGCN

It may be challenging to navigate the bumpy field/gravel by wheelchair. We recommend wheelchair users have someone who is capable of pushing to assist. Fortunately, there is no rain forecasted before nor during the show run, so at least the ground shouldn’t be soggy and soft.

      Hi Tim,
You don’t need to show tickets to get in.
Simply state your name at the check-in tents.
They have the lists of RSVPs.

Since there has been an increase in Covid numbers, how many attendees will be allowed per show?

    • weagGCN

      Hi Karen,
We’re allowing 400 reservations per show though there is room on the field for many more than that. There are typically a number of no-shows. As seating is not provided, you are able to move to a viewing area that is more distant from others if you prefer.

Are there any copies of past GCN performances for sale or is there any thought to broadcast one for those of us missing our Christmas tradition?

      Hi Maureen,
We are considering that for Christmas Eve and/or Christmas.
Stay tuned to weag.church and weag.online for any announcement that may be forthcoming.
